It’s been a week since Franco came to Medellín and I still haven’t seen him. His team has had two matches, and they won both of them. I haven’t been able to attend since the games are during the day, and I’ve been swamped with work.I'm truly happy everything is going well for them, but I can’t help but think I’m an afterthought to Franco.

I know he came here to work, I’m not asking for him to ditch the kids and go spend a day with me, but he can’t even see me at night after the kids go to bed? And no, this isn’t about a booty call either—although sex with Franco is phenomenal— it’s not the only thing I want from him. We could talk in person instead of a measly text. A hug, a kiss. Something. But so far, nothing. Am I expecting too much? I mean, he hasn’t even said that he’d love for me to go to a game.

I’m having lunch at home with Cata when my phone pings with a text.
